Very Nice,
November 28, 2011 This review is from: Linksys WES610N 4-Port Dual-Band N Entertainment Bridge (Personal Computers)
Like many, I have equipment nowhere near a cable. Everything is wireless. Finding a bridge or relay has been fairly challenging over the years. They either did too much or not enough and for the most part, there are always very little in the way of choices.
Enter this Linksys. I was using the Netgear bridge for the past few months. It was only capable of 2.6g and though it appeared to work somewhat ok, it keep needing restarted and ran rather slow. My primary device using it was a Roku. Many times the show I was streaming and many times it was not. I have a 70mb Internet connection, so I ruled out that. I purchased 2 of these WES610N devices. One for the LR and one for the Bedroom which is at the complete opposite end of building relative to my wireless router. I also have a Roku in the BR.
From the moment I installed them, the quality of the stream has been vastly improved and has remained so for a few weeks. I have yet to recycle the power on either...

Performs Perfectly!,
November 10, 2011 This review is from: Linksys WES610N 4-Port Dual-Band N Entertainment Bridge (Personal Computers)
The Linksys WES610N works just as expected. I use a Cisco / Linksys E4200 router and setup was a breeze. The Wi-Fi Protected Setup feature made it very easy and quick to set up. I use Vonage as my phone service, and have perfect clarity and consistent connection. If you're looking into connecting multiple ethernet devices to your wireless network, this is the one to get!

PERFECT ITEM FOR MY NEEDS,
December 12, 2011 This review is from: Linksys WES610N 4-Port Dual-Band N Entertainment Bridge (Personal Computers)
I have converted one of my bedrooms into a home-office, the only problem is that I had no way to get wired internet access to the room. Up until now I had been relying upon a USB wireless network adapter, but wanted to get my son's computer and my laser printer networked, so I went looking for a wireless bridge that would connect all of my networked devices in the office to my network. Upon the recommendation of a friend, I decided upon the Linksys (Cisco) WES610N. I was not disappointed. I had the device online and functional less then five minuted after unpacking it from Amazon's shipping box. Configuration of the unit was painless by accessing the administration web interface via the default IP address. My internet speed is noticeably faster and all of my office devices are happily online. Very happy and impressed with both the ease of installation as well as the performance of this little unit. Well worth paying a little extra for this model than others on the market!
